This weekend we took the drive out to Hardisty and beyond to take engagement pictures of Amanda and Brady whose fall wedding we will be photographing in September in Camrose.

We spend the afternoon at and around Brady’s family farm.  We will start the show off with this photo of Amanda and Brady’s affection for one another.

 

This dog that lives on the property was following us around the farm.  It took a liking to our lighting equipment.

Brady posposed to Amanda on a ski hill so they thought it would be fun to go to the abandoned ski hill just a few hundred metres away from the house.  It closed down four years ago.  It looks like it must have been a fun hill.  The area offered spectacular views of the valley.

We will end with my favourite picture of Amanda and Brady.  They just look like they are having so much fun out in the canola field.

We’ve been wanting to do more ‘urban’ pictures lately and Jasmyn and Mitchell were the perfect couple to do this with.  Mitchell has a vintage ’81 Camaro that he brought out to the shoot.

I could just imagine the two of them at a drive-in theatre in this photograph.

I just love Jasmyn’s expression in this picture.  She adores Mitch.
