Kim and Steven are an awesome couple. They were both so relaxed about the wedding, and so content to be marrying each other. Their wedding was elegant and traditional, with some truly fantastic elements, like a Rolls Royce limo!

The ceremony was at the Holy Family Parish in St. Albert, a beautiful open, bright church.

As those of you who follow our work know, we’re not the most traditional wedding photographers. But every once in a while you find a couple, a setting, and an awesome car to inspire you for some beautiful traditional photos. Here’s that Rolls Royce we were talking about! It’s a 1966 Rolls, available from Crystal Limousines.
Our assistant Christy hopped in the back for a little taste of the luxurious life.
This is our favorite ring shot to date. The hood ornament on the Rolls is the “Spirit of Ecstasy” one of the Flying Ladies hood ornaments, and a signature of Rolls Royce. So cool!
These two are so sweet together.
Kim & Steven had their wedding reception at the Royal Alberta Museum. It was a wonderful reception location. The museum is heading into renovations, and Kim and Steven were lucky enough to be the last couple to have their reception there this year. We’re looking forward to working there again!
Kim’s mom made their beautiful wedding cake. We love to see family touches at weddings – it makes the day that much more memorable.
And you can’t have your wedding at the museum without a few pictures with the dinosaurs. Awesome!
Remember those Spiderman socks? This is who they belong to – so far the coolest ring bearer we’ve ever seen. Check out his mad dance skills!

Those are beautiful pictures. They brought tears to my eyes all over again. I’m Steven’s sister, Josh’s mother and that breakdancing move and his spiderman socks are awesome shots. I will be sharing these photos with a few friends and defintely keep you in mind for future events. Thanks.

Just a quick word about the work done by the people at Shandro photo (Mike, Haley and Christy), it was great. Kim and I were very happy with the work they did and would definately encourage anyone who is planning their big day, or for any other event, to have them be your photographers.

Wow, thank you for the wonderful comments. Kim and Steven are very genuine souls. In addition to being a lot of fun they love each-other very much and they expressed their true feelings and emotions on their wedding day. We were just lucky that we could be there to witness it.
Kim, your reception was one of the most tastefully decorated that I have seen. Kudos to you for putting all of the work into it. Also to your day-of wedding planner (I can’t remember his name). If you pass on his info to us I will be sure to post it here.
