We are so excited to announce we will be attending the Digitial Wedding Forum annual convention in Phoenix in January!  We’re pumped to learn from some amazing speakers, and spend time with some of the world’s greatest wedding photographers.  We’ll be coming back to Edmonton full of new ideas and invigorated for our 2009 weddings (and of course, some photos to share!).

If you are planning your wedding and would like to meet with us, we will be away for part of January, but we will be checking our email and making arrangements while we’re gone.  We’d love to hear from you!

We received 36 comments, and donated the equivalent amount of money to the Edmonton Food Bank, so they can buy what they need the most.  This was an incredible event with photographers from all across North America participating, and we hope to do it again next year too.

Hi everyone! Haley here. I was checking out one of my favorite blogs, the Bebbs, and I came across an amazing and idea, that I couldn’t help but want to participate in. A group of Vancouver photographers joined together to give back to their community, and for every comment they receive on their blog, they are donating one can of food to the local food bank.

I was so inspired and touched by this idea, that I wanted to bring it to the Shandro Photo blog. So between now and December 15th, for every comment we receive on our blog, we’ll donate a canned food item to the Edmonton Food Bank! To make it more interesting, find your favourite post, and comment on that!  The more comments you can bring to our blog, the more families we will be able to help this holiday season. So send your friends, relatives, co-workers, tell everyone! It’s so easy, and a wonderful way to give back.
