Dayna and Ryan are an absolutely beautiful couple. They have a really cool story – they met when they were babies, and it was really neat to see in their slideshow photos of them together as infants. They have been married for 2 years already, but I felt the same excitement and anticipation from them as they saw each other at opposite ends of the aisle as I would from any newlyweds. They held a wedding ceremony here in Edmonton (they live in Washington state) for the family and friends here who wanted to celebrate with them. The stunning wedding was held at the Hotel MacDonald.

This one is our assistant Brendan’s photo.

See? Absolute excitement on Dayna’s face. Love it.

Ryan is in the Coast Guard in Washington, and was very handsome in his uniform.

Seriously hot couple!

I’ve never seen such an enthusiastic toast.

Flowers by La Piazza Dasee (we love them!) and cake by Deliciously Different Cakes.

Dayna’s dress suited her so well. Incredibly fashionable for a gorgeous bride.

This is Brendan’s photo.

Congratulations Dayna & Ryan. Thank you for choosing us to celebrate with you. If we’re ever in Port Angeles we’ll come visit!

Cans for Comments 2009
November 10, 2009Last year we joined in a campaign started by the amazing Chris + Lynn from Vancouver to collect food for our local food bank – by asking for comments on our blog! We’re doing it again this year: for every comment we receive on our blog (have a look around – choose your favourite post!) between now and December 31, we will donate one can of food to the Edmonton Food Bank.
In light of another issue that has affected our family this year, we are doing something even more – we are going to donate $1 per comment to the Palliative Care Unit at the Grey Nuns Hospital. The staff who work in this unit are incredible, and play a very important role in a lot of families lives when they are going through a very difficult time.
We all have a lot to be thankful for, and those of us who can give back have a responsibility to do so. Let’s help some other families have a great Christmas.
Love,
Haley, Michael, and Andrew
