With your wedding day being one of the most significant moments of your shared life with your partner, it is important to look after yourself and be the best that you can be. As strong, independent women ourselves, we believe that before her wedding day, the perfect bride must feel at peace and confident in herself as well as in all of her wedding related decisions. To marry someone is to share your life with the person that you love most in the world, but before you walk down the aisle there are many things to consider. Through this series of blog posts, we hope to evoke critical thought and work with real, modern Edmonton brides who face many different realities.
With highly talked about celebrity weddings such as the Royal wedding, the Sex and the City wedding, and the Kardashian/Humphries wedding, as well as numerous bridal blogs, a plethora of bridal magazines, and loving family members and friends, wedding inspiration flies at us from everywhere. How do you know which information to take as realistic inspiration? That being said, just because they had it at the Royal wedding, why can’t you have a similar it factor at your wedding — should that be what you wish.
Sometimes, Brides in Edmonton can feel limited in their available options and may not think that the wedding of their dreams is possible here. Instead of thinking of Edmonton as just Edmonton, we want to show you that there are few limitations. Instead of having a destination wedding, you can celebrate with your loved ones locally while bringing New York, Paris, or London here. We want to start a discussion with you where we will talk about all of the options available to you in order to create your fairytale wedding here in Edmonton — a city we call home, a city that we love.
We will be blogging each month with topics and interviews to inform, educate, inspire, and provoke. Some of the topics will be able to be integrated into your lifestyle, even if you are not a bride-to-be, while others will be specifically wedding related (such as when we discuss budgeting). We invite you to comment and share with us your perspectives.
