I have something a bit different for you in this post. OK, so you might be wondering what Pinterest is, and if you are a bride who isn’t familiar with it I’m happy to introduce you to Pinterest!  Pinterest is an online pinboard community where you can organize things you love from all over the internet including wedding inspiration, fashion, decor, things to do with your kids, travel wish lists, and recipes.

I had the idea to host a Pinterest Potluck! So many people (myself included) pin things but don’t take the time to actually try them out. There are some real gems on Pinterest!  And some things that might not work so well.  I was so excited to try some of these dishes, and I will definitely be doing a Pinterest potluck again!  If you have favourite recipes, feel free to comment below and post them!  You can also follow my boards on Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/haleyshandro/)

The recipes that I decided to try are Rolo Cookies, Pink Lemonade Cake, and Cheesy Chicken Ranch Lasagna. My son Andrew loves baking and helped me out!

The lasagna isn’t something I would make again – way too many calories, and not a very sophisticated flavour. Everything else was yummy.

My guests brought Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Cookie Dough Dip, Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza Puffs, Rolled Spanakopita, Peanut Butter Pound Cake, spinach dip, and a to-die-for chicken recipe that isn’t on Pinterest but should be.  When I get the recipe I’ll put it up.
