Julie & David have been on our blog before – they were both in the bridal party for Shauntel & Jason last year and we were thrilled to work with their family and friends again! While I was in the mountains with Shelly & Kevin, Michael and Raymond were treated to a super fun wedding day. It would be impossible for the wedding of these two not to be a blast.

The choice of brown suits for the guys was great, they all looked very handsome.

I told Michael that I though how he had posed the girls for this shot was really cool. And then when he told me that he didn’t pose them at all, I thought it was even better!

Julie & David got married in the same church as their friends Shauntel & Jason – it’s a beautiful old church in Morinville and the stained glass gives it the most interesting light.

After the ceremony everyone went to Fort Edmonton Park where Julie & David had rented one of the houses for photos.

On they way to the reception from Fort Edmonton Park, the bridal party’s limo got stuck by a train.  Luckily, Raymond was with them.  I think he had fun! Especially after this wedding he wants to shoot with us again next year

I can’t show you most of the photos from that time, but here is a sampling that answers the question “what does a bridal party do while waiting about 40 minutes for a train to pass while on a limo bus with a lot of beer?” (all of these shots are Raymond’s)

Finally made it to the reception, where best man Jason’s speech made grown men cry.

On their first date, David took Julie to A & W.  And the rest is history.
