It’s pretty awesome when a bride who has seen her all of her photos already is still excited for me to put up her blog post.  Here you go Shanon!

I had to hang on to these photos for a little while – they were taken before Shanon & Rakesh’s wedding in Fiji, but we didn’t want to spoil the surprise for her family and friends, but now that they are officially married I can share them with you.

I love the idea of what Shanon & Rakesh decided to do with their wedding photos.  Their bridal party (made up of their closest friends) wasn’t going to be able to attend the family wedding in Fiji, and they wanted photos done by us, so they organized a portrait session and dinner to celebrate here in Edmonton.  They booked some time at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, and we had a fun-filled afternoon together.

I couldn’t get enough of Shanon’s eyes. Incredible!
